Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years of operational accounting within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably in publicly traded companies
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field
  • CPA certification and understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
  • A mix of Big 4 and industry experience managing the order-to-cash function at complex and multi-national publicly-traded companies
  • Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in implementing various analytical techniques for Close cycle
  • Advanced expertise of ASC 606
  • Experience with M&A integration
  • Experience with leading ERP implementation, migration and upgrade

Responsibilities

  • Have end-to-end ownership over key revenue streams, controls, and financial statement disclosures, ensuring timely recording of revenue transactions in compliance with US GAAP
  • Participate in the monthly and quarterly close process for revenue-related activities and ensure proper documentation of accounting treatments
  • Perform reviews over automated revenue allocations to ensure proper quoting of products/services, completeness, and accuracy
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures of revenue recognition including stand-alone selling prices
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders including Sales to provide guidance on complex revenue transactions and contract negotiation
  • Serve as a primary contact for internal business stakeholders and external auditors on revenue related matters
  • Collaborate with FP&A and business teams to analyze revenue-related transactions and actual vs forecast
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls over the order-to-cash cycle, including robust process to ensure upstream data impacting revenue accounting is accurate and complete
  • Partner with the information technology department to build robust reporting
  • Support ad hoc Controllership projects arising from our rapid growth, including manual revenue allocations, modifications, and prospective modification analysis as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce and Alteryx experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Sigma, SQL and other data analytics procedures are highly desirable
