Summary

Join our team as a Revenue Manager and take on the challenge of managing all aspects of day-to-day order-to-cash accounting operations, including contract review for proper revenue recognition & managing input of contract details into Zuora.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years relevant experience – ideally 2-3 years serving SaaS clients in Big 4 public accounting or revenue advisory and 2-3 years in-house at a SaaS company
  • Experience working at a high-growth, fast-paced SaaS company with subscription revenue and multiple element arrangements
  • ASC 606 subject matter expert having extensive experience reviewing and interpreting contracts for ASC 606 revenue recognition implications
  • Experience working with Zuora and Salesforce is required
  • Confidence in your skills with systems and a strong comprehension of IT data flows will be critical to success in this role
  • Experience supporting sales operations and sales teams
  • Project management experience in relation to systems and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Lead, prepare and manage all aspects of the monthly order-to-cash close activities, including preparation and review of revenue, accounts receivable and deferred revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses
  • Lead the implementation of Zuora Revenue and Zuora Billing and collaborate across departments to develop more automated revenue recognition solutions
  • Complete second level review of non-standard contracts and document accounting conclusions
  • Maintain the ASC 606 policy and analyses for critical accounting estimates (standalone selling price, variable consideration, reserve for credit losses)
  • Build revenue reporting dashboards and other ad-hoc reports to deliver relevant, timely, and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare audit support for revenue, unbilled revenue, deferred revenue and reserves
