Risk & Payments Data Analyst

Summary

The job is for a Risk & Payments Data Analyst at Plusgrade. The role involves optimizing reporting and data analysis, fraud mitigation, and data-driven decision making. Requirements

• University/College degree or equivalent working experience
• 5+ years of strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python
• Hands on experience with data visualization tools - Tableau preferred
• Experience with data preparation tools - Alteryx and Dataiku is an asset
• Excellent computer skills with advanced expertise in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, Power Queries, Excel macros, Excel dashboarding etc.)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to adhere to deadlines, capable of working independently and collaboratively with the team
• Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities and to work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Optimizing and enhancing reporting and data analysis
• Fraud mitigation through anomaly detection within transactions
• Supporting the team's ongoing process of making data-driven decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kount or other fraud tools is considered an asset
• Hands on experience of version control, e.g., GitHub is a plus
