Risk Screening Analyst

Requirements

• Ability to create clear, concise written summaries with actionable recommendations and conclusions
• Work effectively with cross-departmental teams
• Lead or contribute to ongoing projects within the organization
• Meticulous in analyzing alerts and ensuring the accuracy of decisions
• Advanced deduction and analytical skills
• Basic knowledge with Excel
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for evaluating complex risk scenarios
• Flexible attitude and ability to cope with changing requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct first-line reviews of sanctions watchlist alerts generated by automated systems
• Accurately disposition false positives and escalate potential true matches
• Escalate potential sanctions issues to the Sanctions Officer
• Identify and flag potentially sanctions and/or adverse media-related risks
• Utilize Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) tools to validate or disprove potential matches
• Analyze relationships and business activities to identify possible sanctions and reputational risks
