Join Certn's team as a Background Screening Analyst for a 12-month contract! Conduct comprehensive background checks, including criminal record checks, academic verifications, and employment reference checks. You will be responsible for dispatching and following up on requests, accurately recording findings, and flagging discrepancies. This role requires customer service experience, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a high volume of tasks. Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, showcasing aptitude in handling customer inquiries and managing busy workloads
- Organizational skills with an ability to multitask effectively and meet tight deadlines
- Thoroughness and accuracy in completing tasks, ensuring quality and timely outcomes
- Demonstrated capability to handle a high volume of transactional tasks (typically ranging from 80-100 items per day)
- Good email etiquette, and confident, professional phone manner for effective communication with clients and candidates
- Familiarity with office software such as Google Suite, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new online systems
- Have exceptional attention to detail
- Possess a strong drive to be of service, with experience in customer service or call centre environments
- Are committed to being active and supportive team members
- Able to commence work as soon as June 16, 2025
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive background screenings, including Criminal Record Checks, academic qualification verifications, and employment reference checks for candidates hired by our clients, in accordance with established guidelines, legislation, training materials, and processes
- Dispatch and follow up on reference and verification requests, recording ongoing actions and conclusions
- Record all findings and outcomes accurately, including additional expenses for billing purposes
- Flag any adverse findings or discrepancies between candidate-provided information and research outcomes
