Summary

Join Agility Robotics' growing product team as a Product Manager to contribute to the development of Digit, our bipedal mobile manipulator robot. You will define product requirements, prioritize features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role involves managing the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and supporting customer pilots. You will work with a remote team and need strong communication and analytical skills. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years as a Product Manager, preferably in robotics, AI, or complex products that combine hardware and software
  • Managed the lifecycle of a product from ideation to implementation to post launch adoption
  • A strong customer focus for understanding customer needs and translating them into clear, concise, and actionable product requirements
  • Strong experience in tactical execution—breaking down high-level goals into detailed, actionable features and managing them through to completion
  • Strong experience writing Product Requirement Documents and Jira initiatives/epics for feature definition
  • Experience managing a product backlog and iterative software releases
  • Analytical skills to quantify impact of features and utilize data for prioritization
  • Experience in both traditional waterfall (HW) and Agile development (SW)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment (engineering, design, marketing, operations, sales, etc), and leading without direct authority
  • Go to Market experience taking a product through launch strategy, defining value proposition, pricing, and promotion. Experience managing beta engagements

Responsibilities

  • Define Product Requirements: Serve as lead owner of product level requirements for the robot (Hardware and on-robot software)
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to define detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for humanoid robot features
  • Translate customer and internal needs into clear, actionable technical specifications
  • Prioritize Features & Backlog: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, evaluating trade-offs based on factors such as technical feasibility, customer value, and resource constraints
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure priorities are aligned with the overall product strategy
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the key liaison between engineering, design, commercial, and customers, ensuring that everyone is aligned with the product vision and user experience goals
  • Facilitate clear communication to keep everyone focused on delivering valuable, customer-driven features
  • Customer pilot support and iteration: Ensure that customer pilots are aligned with the roadmap
  • Support the iteration process for each release cycle, gathering feedback from beta users to refine and optimize features
  • Ensure that the releases meet customer expectations, gather learning, and use them to prioritize future roadmap features
  • Product launch: Develop product launch deliverables in collaboration with marketing and commercial teams
  • Work with a Remote Team and Department: Collaborate effectively with remote teams and departments across multiple time zones
  • Ensure smooth communication, alignment on goals, and effective execution of tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with a remote team
  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing or related industries
  • Experience in B2B product management
  • Experience working with humanoid robot platforms, or any robotics-related hardware development
  • Familiarity with robot software, simulation, and testing platforms
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience using project management tools like Jira or Confluence
  • Experience in functional safety and compliance requirements
