Summary

Join Samsara, a pioneer in the Connected Operationsβ„’ Cloud, and help take our rapidly growing Video-based Safety business to the next level. As a Product Manager, you will launch new safety products, leverage data from millions of deployed devices, and collaborate with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success teams. This high-ownership role requires leveraging cutting-edge VLMs and LLMs to expand our understanding of road safety and unlock new business opportunities. You will work with a high-caliber team, impacting industries that power our global economy and ensuring worker safety. This remote position is open to candidates residing in Canada. Requirements

  • 2+ years in a product management or product-oriented engineering role
  • Demonstrated experience and passion working on products that leverage AI/ML/CV
  • Strong technical background, ability to grasp technical concepts, and establish credibility with engineers
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action - you'd rather try something and learn than wait for perfect information
  • Experience using LLMs/VLMs to enhance your own productivity and problem-solving approach
  • Bias-to-action and hands-on experience delivering business results
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver high-quality product experiences on tight timelines and in line with our business aspirations

Responsibilities

  • Work with our talented engineering teams to launch new products to help drive a fast-growing, at-scale business with $1 Billion+ in ARR
  • Collaborate closely with customers to deeply understand their business, their product feedback, and inform our roadmap
  • Identify new product opportunities and own them from concept to launch
  • Lead by example in using AI tools to accelerate product development, customer research, and decision-making
  • Partner with our Sales team to help close strategic customer accounts as needed
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural values (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial experience
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical field
  • Deep experience creating and growing products leveraging video data
  • Examples of how you've used AI tools to solve problems in creative ways
  • Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, physical operations, or on products with a vertically integrated hardware + software stack
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS products and working with B2B sales teams
