RoR Developer

Summary

Join Adaptiq, a technology hub supporting R&D teams for product companies, as a Ruby on Rails Developer. You will collaborate with architects to design and build new applications using Ruby on Rails and Go, managing the entire development lifecycle from design to deployment. Ensure production system stability by coordinating with a support team. Improve existing services using best practices. This role requires significant experience with Ruby on Rails, database technologies, and API development. Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in developing server applications with Ruby on Rails
• Experience in designing and implementing data-driven applications powered by both MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) solutions
• Experience in optimizing performance in relational databases
• Experience writing RESTful APIs and understanding the HTTP protocol
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests

Responsibilities

• Full software development life-cycle of new applications, starting with technical design together with architects and ending with deployment to production together with the DevOps team
• Keeping production stable and working, having a dedicated team as a first line of support
• Improvement of technical health of existing services according to best practices from architects, infra team, or your own ideas

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing in Golang
• Experience working with React
• Experience with gRPC/protobuf, ApacheThrift
• Experience solving high-load problems
• Experience with concurrent applications
