Requirements

  • English B2 or higher is required
  • +4 years of experience in software design and application development with Ruby and JavaScript
  • Experience creating microservices and consumer APIs
  • Solid knowledge and professional experience in software engineering and best practices for the complete software development lifecycle (including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations)
  • Practical experience in writing and distributing large-scale distributed systems and high-quality client-server architectures
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical ideas and collaborate with technical and non-technical peers

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features and improvements for our products and services in a safe and well-tested manner, following company guidelines
  • Write detailed technical documentation
  • Resolve moderate-level technical problems
  • Ensure code style, maintainability, and best practices
  • Provide mentorship to Junior Engineers in your team to help them develop their technical skills and autonomy
  • Launch features and improvements of moderate size with minimal guidance and support from other team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with GCP
  • Experience working with Kafka and/or Pub/Sub
  • Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of common algorithms and data structures
