Requirements

• Experience with Ruby on Rails and API development
• Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Strong bias towards simplicity and maintainability

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails
• Build APIs (RESTful and GraphQL) leveraging ActiveRecord for database models, relationships, and queries
• Develop JavaScript-based APIs to simplify blockchain interactions and facilitate integrations
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop new features
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable code with robust test coverage
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and team discussions

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with background job processing (Sidekiq, Redis)
• Familiarity with JavaScript and using third-party libraries
