Rust Engineer

Join Edge & Node, a leader in web3 innovation, as a highly motivated Rust Engineer. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of core software components powering The Graph. This role involves developing and integrating WebAssembly (WASM) runtime environments, applying WASM execution in Rust, and building developer tooling for WASM modules. Strong proficiency in Rust, particularly with WASM integration and Wasmtime, is essential. Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate WebAssembly (WASM) runtime environments to support user-defined functions and custom data transformations
• Apply WASM execution in Rust using Wasmtime to enhance performance
• Stay current with WASM standards such as the Component Model and their implementation status in Wasmtime to adopt the latest features
• Implement multi-tenant WASM environments, with an understanding of sandboxing and deterministic execution, and support for parallel invocation of a module
• Build developer tooling for WASM modules written Rust and JS/TS, including the definition of the interface between the host and WASM, unit testing, debugging and efficient build tooling

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Rust and JavaScript for tooling and developer experience
