SaaS Quality Assurance Analyst

Summary

Join iDesign as a part-time SaaS Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS products. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying and tracking defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and reporting test results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2-3 years experience in software quality assurance, preferably with SaaS products
• Proficiency in test case management tools and defect tracking systems. Experience with test automation tools is a plus
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), agile/scrum, and QA methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and propose solutions
• Experience creating end-to-end tests and integration tests
• Knowledge of accessibility standards WCAG 2.1 AA and higher

Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for various types of testing
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, working closely with development teams to ensure timely fixes
• Test Automation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Reporting: Prepare and present clear and concise test reports, documenting test results, issues, and recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GitHub, Asana, and Figma
• Experience with React or other front-end javascript frameworks
• Experience working in a fully remote and fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills, excellent follow-through, and exceptional attention to detail

Benefits

• This position is a part-time, hourly, 1099 contract position
• The successful candidate will work remotely on a contract basis
