Summary

Frida is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead data-driven initiatives and manage a team. The role requires expertise in multiple technology stacks, Agile approach, and strong understanding of cybersecurity and ITIL process. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of progressive experience, preferably in a manufacturing or CPG industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or computer science
  • 10 + years of progressive experience. Preferably in a manufacturing or CPG industry
  • 4+ years of experience with WMS, and/or related inventory management systems
  • 4+ years of development experience in visualization tools such as Power-BI or Tableau
  • 5+ years of experience with manufacturing ERP and vendor management software
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, SQL, ETL, Data Lake, etc
  • Understanding of data governance and data security implications and implementation
  • Experience with project management tools (Asana or JIRA)
  • Conceptual understanding or experience with Microsoft Azure, Data Lake or integrating SAAS applications for entire enterprise
  • Understanding about application compliance, risk metrics and risk management
  • Strong project management skills, especially with project planning, vendor evaluations, and process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Oversee internal and client facing applications data requirements, integrations, and application best practices
  • Act as a technical liaison with different internal departments including Engineering, Finance, Sales, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Field Operations, and international suppliers
  • Lead and manage an IT team of 4-6 employees
  • Manage IT vendor relationship and directly oversee a pool of technical offshore resources
  • Evaluate future changes, including system enhancements, process improvements, and reporting dashboards from data and integration perspective
  • Identify, implement, and integrate various application data schemas and data structures into simplified solutions
  • Develop business trackers and metrics to report our progress towards corporate objectives
  • Train and develop assigned members of the implementation analyst team as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of manufacturing and distribution processes and products
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of problem solving, root cause analysis, and solution implementation
