Summary
Join Obsidian Security as a Sales Demo Engineer and play a foundational role in optimizing our demo environments, supporting Proof-of-Value (POV) engagements, and enabling sales success. You will own and maintain our demo environments, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with product releases. Collaborate with various teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Enablement, to create compelling demos that showcase our product's value. This role involves executing threat simulations for POVs, developing scalable demo scenarios, and managing our Demostack instance. You will also contribute to enablement initiatives by creating demo scripts and assets, delivering training, and ensuring adoption of demo strategies. This is a high-impact role in a fast-growing company, ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity and eager to make an immediate contribution.
Requirements

- Strong understanding of Cloud and SaaS security challenges
- Hands on experience with APIs, integrations, and middleware tools
- Effective project management skills with the ability to liaise between SE, Product, Marketing, and Enablement teams
Responsibilities
- Own the data configuration and maintenance of demo environment
- Establish and maintain schedules for demo account updates in alignment with product release and sales training
- Partner with SE leadership to develop scalable, repeatable demo scenarios
- Manage and optimize our Demostack instance for self-serve and test-drive demos
- Populate demo data in sandbox environments to support POVs
- Execute threat simulations for POVs and create a repeatable process
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers on high-priority pOVs to ensure successful mapping of assets to the success criteria
- Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, and Enablement to align demo data and assets with product releases
- Work with the cross functional team above to create segmented demo scripts and assets
- Partner with the cross functional teams above to deliver talk tracks, conduct training, and ensure adoption of demo strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Cybersecurity or IT
- Proficient in coding and scripting for automation and customization
- Background in high-growth environments
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
