Summary
Join ClassDojo as a Sales Development Representative and play a pivotal role in expanding our reach within US schools. Leveraging your understanding of classroom dynamics and passion for education, you will build relationships with key decision-makers in districts and schools. You will drive outreach efforts, manage the sales pipeline, and deliver compelling sales presentations. Success requires exceeding sales targets, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit. This is a founding team member role with opportunities for decision-making and experimentation. Requirements
- You have a history of exceeding your sales targets for multiple consecutive quarters and being one of the highest-performers on your team

Responsibilities
- Drive Outreach efforts: Generate sales-qualified leads for large/medium districts and schools via phone calls, emails or other forms of contact
- Build Relationships with District and School Leaders: Develop and execute a strategic plan to engage and establish relationships with key decision-makers
- Own the Sales Pipeline Management: Take ownership of the sales pipeline for school leaders. Effectively manage opportunities, advancing them through the buying process and ensuring a smooth transition to implementation
- Own Sales Conversations: Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations that highlight the value of ClassDojo in addressing the needs and aspirations of school leaders
Preferred Qualifications
- Your past experience in education technology has given you insights into the nuances of education that uniquely position you for success in EdTech sales
- You have experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, sales operations, and account executives
- Personalized communication is a strength, and you can tailor your presentations to resonate with educators' specific needs
- You have experience with sales technology including Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar platforms
Benefits
- Base pay (hourly rate annualized): $58,500 - $67,000 (USD) Location: CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT states
- On target earnings: $83,700 - $95,800 (USD) Location: CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT states
- Base pay (hourly rate annualized): $52,700 - $60,300 (USD) Location: All other US states
- On target earnings: $75,400 - $86,200 (USD) Location: All other US states
- This role is eligible for an incentive pay component
