Summary

You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving lead generation within the cybersecurity and ransomware protection space. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive sales approach, and a passion for cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in sales development or business development, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or business development role, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Prospect, identify, and qualify potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Client Engagement: Engage with decision-makers in target companies to understand their cybersecurity needs, challenges, and pain points, particularly related to ransomware threats
  • Sales Support: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support and execute strategies for lead generation, campaigns, and outreach
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and manage lead data within our CRM system
  • Educate & Qualify: Provide relevant information on our ransomware protection solutions and qualify leads to determine their potential fit for our services
  • Nurturing: Follow up with leads and ensure consistent engagement until they are ready for a deeper conversation with an Account Executive or sales team
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and ransomware threats to communicate value effectively

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, especially ransomware threats, is a plus
