Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years in quota-carrying enterprise software sales (SaaS/cloud/collaboration)
- 3+ years selling to/working with public sector (government/education)
- Proven record of exceeding sales targets
- Experience with consultative selling methodologies and public sector procurement
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory plans to exceed Google Workspace sales quotas in public sector accounts for Game Plan Tech
- Engage public sector leaders to understand needs and articulate Workspace's value in improving productivity and achieving strategic objectives, supported by Game Plan Tech's implementation and service capabilities
- Deliver compelling, tailored presentations and demos; expertly address objections
- Establish Game Plan Tech as a trusted partner and thought leader in the public sector for Google Workspace solutions
- Present at industry events, workshops, and create content (white papers, blogs) addressing public sector needs with Google Workspace
- Stay informed on industry trends, tech advancements (including AI), and policy impacting the public sector
- Navigate complex public sector procurement (RFI/RFP, contracts, compliance like FedRAMP)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and relevant Google contacts
- Collaborate with internal Game Plan Tech teams (e.g., technical consultants, project managers) and Google partner teams for customer success
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep Google Workspace knowledge and familiarity with competitors
- Established public sector thought leadership (speaking, content creation)
- Experience working with Google Cloud products or other cloud solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly
