Summary
Join Visa as a Sr. Sales Executive and sell issuer payment processing services to medium to large financial institutions. Develop and execute sales strategies for US Financial Institutions, collaborating with a team to ensure client satisfaction. Increase revenue from existing accounts and acquire new ones. Continuously review the client landscape, create customized account plans, negotiate contracts, and proactively pitch solutions. Contribute to the development of functional strategy and annual goals, and mentor peers. This is a remote position with potential for travel.
Requirements
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Responsibilities
- Create New Opportunities: You'll continuously review the client landscape to recommend, develop, and implement new and creative approaches to growing the Visa business
- Build Strong Relationships: You'll develop a deep understanding of your clients' businesses and create customized account plans that help them grow their business
- Negotiate Contracts: You'll prepare proposals and negotiate contracts with financial institutions to help them use our payment processing services
- Obsess about Customers: You'll learn about all Visa has to offer to proactively pitch compelling solution sets that will help your clients maximize their payment portfolios
- Drive Innovation into the Market: You'll play a key role in helping marketing and product development launch new products in your territory
- Lead Courageously: You’ll use your expertise to contribute to the development of the overall functional strategy & annual goals and coach & mentor your peers to lift the performance of the entire tea
Preferred Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- 12+ years of experience in a related sales or client management role
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving growth
- Expert ability to develop and nurture new business partnerships
- Proven strength in building trust with senior executives within client organizations
- Expertise in negotiating business agreements, with a strong understanding of financial controls and the legal aspects of contract management
- Exceptional skills in proactively building strong internal and cross-functional relationships
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
