Summary

Join Marqeta as a Sr. Manager, Sales Strategy & Insights and become a strategic partner to Sales Leadership. Craft compelling sales narratives, develop vertical thought leadership, and create customer-facing presentations. You will uncover insights that inspire customer action and support the attainment of sales goals. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Revenue Operations teams. This flexible role can be performed remotely anywhere in the US, with preferred locations in Chicago, New York City, or the Bay Area. The ideal candidate possesses 8+ years of experience in sales, consulting, or marketing and excels in communication, presentation skills, and strategic thinking.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of proven experience in sales, consulting, or marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience creating and delivering (C-level) presentations
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills including talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations
  • Ability to think strategically and follow through on execution
  • A proven ability to develop tactical initiatives that improve sales productivity and performance
  • Self starter who is able to operate independently with minimum supervision

Responsibilities

  • Be a strategic thought partner to the Sales leadership team
  • Craft compelling sales narratives and presentations
  • Drive industry and vertical thought leadership at scale
  • Uncover (research) insights that inspire customer action
  • Support the attainment of quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Collaborate with partner teams (including Marketing, Product, Revenue Operations) to bring the best of Marqeta to our customers
