Salesforce Developer, Remote - Bulgaria

Summary

The job description is for a Salesforce Developer role in Appfire's IT Operations team. The candidate will collaborate with other teams to bring CRM and systems together, automate the sales process, and provide key business insights. The role requires at least 5 years of Salesforce development experience, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification, and proficiency with various tools and technologies.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
• Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud) product knowledge and at least 5 years of Salesforce development experience
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
• Experience designing, coding, and implementing Apex code Triggers, Classes, Components, etc., Visualforce and Lightning components, SOQL, and SOSL languages
• Deep proficiency with salesforce.com APIs and their security model
• Experience with Development Tools and technologies, such as Visual Studio Code (or a similar IDE), Git, SVN, etc

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and any other relevant considerations
• Implement development changes for Apex (classes and triggers) and Visualforce (based on specific requirements)
• Develop custom user interfaces, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages and Lightning Web Components
• Design and implement integrations using Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization
• Promote and adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development
• Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
• Maintain the integrations to business applications, such as DocuSign, Webinar platform, Marketing tools (Klaviyo), and others
• Collaborate with IT Operations / Developers for other systems to integrate across the business
• Support the Salesforce Administrator as a technical liaison and advisor for system enhancements and integrations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing SFDC cross-organization and cross-instance integrations supporting multiple business process environments
• CRM domain knowledge with relevance to the SAAS industry and its sales channels
• Demonstrated capability to develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders/partners
• Additional Salesforce certifications, e.g., Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I
