Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer, including hands-on development using Apex, Salesforce Lightning, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Experience (Communities)
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or equivalent certification is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and integration patterns
  • Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management software (such as JIRA)
  • Obsession with best practices for code versioning, continuous integration, and deployment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Extremely well-organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects in parallel in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing business requirements: Collaborating with the business to understand and translate business needs into functional requirements for solution design and implementation
  • Designing and implementing Salesforce applications: Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce solutions that support a variety of business functions
  • Optimizing existing functions: Create and manage complex workflows, process automation, and validation rules to streamline business processes
  • Testing and quality assurance: Ensuring the solution is robustly tested and validated before releasing it to production
  • Managing data and integrations: Optimize data quality and integrity through effective data modeling, migration, and cleansing, plus handling data flow between other business systems
  • Documenting solutions: Detailing technical specifications, test plans, process flows, and user guides for the developed solutions
