Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Salesforce release management or DevOps roles, with hands-on expertise using Copado along with other CI/CD tools
  • 1+ years or atleast 1 enterprise level project hands-on experience with Copado is a must
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with appExchange product development using 2GP is a must
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce development processes, metadata management, and deployment strategies
  • Proven experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, specifically for Salesforce environments
  • Proficiency in Git and experience in implementing branching strategies
  • Experience in automating deployment processes and creating robust, scalable pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and proactive issue resolution
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work in cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate for Salesforce package development based on 2GP, testing, and packaging environments
  • Oversee and manage the entire Salesforce release process using Copado CI/CD, from planning through to deployment
  • Design and implement effective branching strategies to manage parallel development, feature releases, and hotfixes
  • Ensure efficient, reliable, and automated deployments across different environments with a focus on minimizing downtime and failures
  • Maintain version control across various environments and ensure traceability of all releases
  • Coordinate with Development team and infrastructure teams to manage Salesforce Dev, QA and packaging environments
  • Establish and enforce DevOps best practices for continuous integration, automated testing, and continuous delivery
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing processes are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Identify and address potential risks in the release cycle and proactively resolve issues before the feature release to customers
  • Work closely with product managers, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines
  • Maintain detailed documentation of the release process, pipelines, and branching strategies for knowledge transfer and team alignment
  • Establish monitoring processes and provide regular updates on release performance, deployment metrics, and pipeline efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of AWS code commit and managing AWS pipeline is a plus
  • Certifications or relevant training in cloud computing or DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of front-end and back-end security best practices
  • Familiarity with Salesforce integration and deployment strategies
  • Experience with AI tools for optimizing infrastructure management and operational workflows
