Join Xero and become a Salesforce Engineer, contributing to one of ANZβs largest Salesforce implementations. You will build, enhance, and support scalable Salesforce solutions within a highly customized instance. This role demands expertise in Salesforce development and engineering best practices, working in a DevOps environment with globally dispersed teams. You will collaborate effectively with stakeholders, driving sustainably excellent engineering and continuous delivery. The position requires strong Salesforce knowledge, proficiency in programming languages (Apex, JavaScript, Aura, Lightning Web Components), and experience with deployment tools (GitHub, SFDX, DX CLI). This is a hands-on role focused on crafting robust and impactful software.
Requirements
- Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with a globally dispersed team and stakeholders
- Proactive Self-Starter: Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and driving solutions forward without constant supervision
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to code quality, testing, and documentation, ensuring precision in all deliverables
- Strong Salesforce Knowledge: Previous experience implementing and supporting various Salesforce solutions, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud (ideally in enterprise-level organizations)
- Proficiency in the use of one or more Salesforce programming languages: Apex, JavaScript, Aura, Lightning Web Components
- Experience with Salesforce development and implementation lifecycle, including deployment tools and processes such as GitHub, SFDX, and DX CLI
- Large-Scale Environment: Experience working in large, complex, and highly customized Salesforce instances, understanding the nuances of data volume and platform limits
