Salesforce Platform & Web Developer, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

The job is for a Salesforce Platform & Web Developer at VentureWell, reporting to the Information Systems Team Lead. The role involves website development (80%) and platform development and integrations (20%).

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years experience in Information Technology (IT) space
• An analytical mind with a proven understanding of relational databases and experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API
• Minimum 5 years experience writing Visualforce and Lightning Pages and Apex classes and triggers
• Advanced knowledge of PHP, HTML, modern JavaScript, MySQL react, Vue, consuming and architecting REST APIs, SOAP-based web services
• Minimum 5 years experience with SalesForce DevOps using GitHub, change sets, SalesForce DX and third party tools like Gearset
• Minimum seven years of experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async services

Responsibilities

• Website Development (80% of time)
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites using PHP templates, Gutenberg Block development, APIs, accessibility-first solutions, responsive design principles, troubleshooting and debugging issues, optimizing website speed and performance
• Platform Development and Integrations (20% of time)
• Serve as the owner and lead developer for VentureWell’s Salesforce instance, including systems integrations, 3rd party applications, AppExchange products, and custom code
