SAP BTP Functional Consultant

You will work closely with business stakeholders, eliciting and documenting functional requirements and solution designs for BTP projects. Responsibilities include configuring SAP S/4HANA modules and BTP services, running workshops to refine solutions, and conducting functional and user acceptance testing. This role requires detailed SAP S/4HANA experience, expertise in 1-2 specific modules, and proven project experience. Experience designing BTP applications from a functional perspective and hands-on experience with BTP services are also essential.

Requirements

• Detailed SAP S/4HANA experience with expertise in 1-2 specific modules (e.g. FI-CO, SD, LE, MM) and proven project experience in end-to-end business processes and best practices
• Experience designing BTP applications from an SAP functional perspective
• Hands on experience with BTP services and practical knowledge of BTP components (e.g. SAP Fiori, Cloud Application Programming model (CAP) framework, Automation, and Integration suite)
• Good experience at JIRA and Confluence or equivalent MS office applications
• Demonstrated involvement in full lifecycle SAP projects or migrations with familiarity in Agile, Activate, or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of translating business requirements into functional specifications, with excellent communication skills to liaise between business and technical teams

Responsibilities

• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to illicit business requirements in relation to applications being designed and developed on SAP Business Technology Platform
• Ability to document the functional requirements and solution design for BTP related implementation projects. This includes process flows, maps, S/4HANA configuration requirements, development requirements
• Ability to run workshops with all stakeholders to refine solution designs as well as the ability to determine BTP services applicable to the overall solution
• Ability to configure SAP S/4HANA modules (e.g. FI-CO, SD, LE, MM) and BTP services such as SAP Build tools (workflows / decisions, automations) for detailed solution designs
• Ability to conduct functional testing, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and support cutover and go-live activities ensuring a smooth project transition to BAU teams
