Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Proficiency in data modeling and working with tools like dbt
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Mode
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapt to changing priorities, and solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines and data models using tools like SQL, Python, and dbt, ensuring high data integrity and performance
  • Create and maintain dashboards and self-service tools using visualization platforms like Tableau or Mode to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions
  • Collaborate with teams such as sales, product, engineering, and data science. Understand their needs and deliver solutions to meet business objectives
  • Implement automation solutions and explore the integration of AI capabilities into data tools and applications to enhance productivity and decision-making
  • Be a strategic partner for the business: Identify opportunities and create solutions to automate and scale ad hoc requests

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with web application development or a strong desire to learn
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and their application in data tools
  • Experience with scalable data solutions and deployment
  • Previous experience in e-commerce, retail analytics, or advertising technology
  • Proven track record of contributing to projects that improve operational efficiency and impact revenue
