Requirements

• Certified Scrum Master with 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in cloud computing environments
• Proven experience working in a DevOps environment
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse personality types
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand technical issues at a high level
• Effective communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• This position requires eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance as mandated by our federal client. U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including project planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog maintenance
• Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress to stakeholders
• Maintain and update process documentation to ensure transparency and accountability
• Support development teams in adhering to Agile principles and best practices
• Assist with internal and external communication to improve transparency and radiate information
• Proactively identify, prioritize, and resolve defects/bugs, ensuring smooth project progression
• Develop and maintain team standards, tools, and best practices for continuous improvement
• Identify and remove impediments, fostering an environment free from distractions
• Conduct or participate in program retrospectives for both qualitative and quantitative improvements
• Partner with Program and Project Managers to provide day-to-day technical oversight of projects
• Empower teams to self-organize and promote accountability across all levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile coaching experience with the ability to mentor teams on best practices
• 5+ years of experience in critical thinking and problem-solving roles
• Federal Government contracting experience
• Familiarity with Section 508 compliance standards
• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or additional Agile certifications
