Agile Scrum Master

Summary

Join our team as a talented Scrum Master professional! Guide and support scrum teams in effectively applying Agile methodologies. Lead scrum teams in using Agile methodology and scrum practices, help product owners and development teams achieve customer satisfaction, and lead scrum and development teams in self-organization. Remove impediments, coach teams on impediment removal, and help identify and fill gaps in the Agile framework. Resolve conflicts, help achieve higher scrum maturity, support the product owner, and perform other related duties. This is a remote position based in the Philippines.

Requirements

• Have 5+ years prior experience on a scrum team and 1 of those years in a leadership role
• Have the ability to analyze and think quickly and resolve conflict
• Be knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
• Have the ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
• Have experience with successful Agile techniques
• Have the ability to work with and lead a team
• Have strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
• Have the ability to adapt to changing environment
• Have self-motivation and the ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
• Have a fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties
• Be willing to install next generation end point protection on the computer
• Be a current resident of the Philippines and can perform work from there
• Be willing to work in US Pacific Time (8:00am-5:00pm PST) corresponding to 00:00am -9:00am PH time)

Responsibilities

• Lead the scrum teams in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
• Help the product owners and development teams to achieve customer satisfaction
• Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
• Remove impediments and coach the scrum teams on removing impediments
• Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
• Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
• Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
• Support the product owner and provide education where needed
• Perform other duties related to the role
