Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within agile teams
• Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
• Background in technology or software development projects
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Asana, or similar project management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and continuous improvement
• Guide and mentor team members in agile practices, emphasizing transparency, collaboration, and accountability
• Actively identify and eliminate roadblocks to enable the team to stay focused on sprint goals and commitments
• Monitor and report on sprint progress, velocity, and other key performance indicators to optimize delivery and promote continuous improvement
• Foster effective communication and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders to align expectations and objectives
• Work closely with Product Owners to manage the product backlog, clarify user stories, and ensure a well-prioritized pipeline of work
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements, support team learning, and implement changes that improve delivery speed and quality
• Advocate for an agile mindset across the organization, contributing to agile training sessions and workshops
