Scrum Master

Summary

Join RYZ Labs as a Scrum Master and lead engineering teams to achieve business goals efficiently. You will facilitate sprint ceremonies, manage Jira boards, and spearhead release management. Collaborate with program managers on daily project tasks, analyze data to identify and reduce bottlenecks, and skillfully manage team timelines and priorities. Navigate conflicts diplomatically, provide supportive accountability, and confidently communicate with stakeholders and engineers. Experience with e-commerce is a plus. RYZ Labs offers a flexible remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Has strong experience with analyzing data to identify & reduce bottlenecks
• Leads SM rituals - sprint ceremonies, manages Jira boards, spearheads release management for their assigned teams
• With guidance from lead program managers, supports with some day-to-day project management
• Can follow technical discussions and gently question given estimates where appropriate (i.e., do we really need x amount of time to do y task?)
• Skillful in setting and maintaining boundaries to help ensure tech teams stay on track and execute according to priority and timelines
• Navigates conflict diplomatically and communicates confidently with stakeholders and engineers
• Is supportive and empathetic while holding teams accountable (gentle but firm touch)
• Exhibits confidences in leading teams while remaining humble and open to new approaches

Preferred Qualifications

• Bonus if candidate has experience / interest in e-commerce
