Summary
Join VetsEZ's 100% remote team as a Scrum Master supporting a large federal government project. Lead Agile practices for multiple teams, manage and prioritize work, solve problems, track team output, and identify process improvements. The role requires leading scrum meetings, building collaborative relationships, promoting Agile quality practices, advising government personnel, and working with senior client leadership. A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading Agile development teams is required, along with expertise in the SAFe framework and experience with large-scale software development projects. SAFe Certified Scrum Master certification is mandatory. Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience is required
- Experience in leading an Agile development team with automated application deployments, scaling, and management
- Proven experience with large-scale software development, data management, and software integration projects
- Expertise of agile SAFe framework is a must
- Experience facilitating briefings to senior leadership and the strong ability to capture actions resulting from meetings and requests
- Highly detail oriented with technical documentation
- SAFe Certified Scrum Master
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate scrum meetings and eliminate blockers (PI Planning, Retrospectives, Daily Stand-ups, Demos, etc.)
- Lead and build relationships to encourage collaboration, transparency, and innovation. across a highly cross-functional Agile software development team supporting CI/CD
- Promote Agile quality practices, coordinate across organizations, and serve as a resource to answer questions
- Advise government personnel on improvements to the standardization of processes
- Work directly with senior-level client leadership teams in client-delivery engagements
Preferred Qualifications
- InterSystems technology experience is a plus
- Healthcare related experience is a plus
- Experience with the Department of Veteran Affairs, tools, processes, and frameworks is a plus
- Experience with Project and Configuration Management tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, etc.) is desirable
- Experienced in technical disciplines and technical background
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific /technical discipline
- Ability to obtain a Government clearance
