Remote Scrum Master

Summary

Verdani Partners is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join their team as a full-time employee in San Diego or remotely. The role involves facilitating Agile Scrum processes, managing technology, and partnering with the product development team. The salary range is $80,000 - $110,000/year.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 3 years as a Scrum Master
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage Agile Scrum processes within Verdani Partners
• Partner closely with the product development team to keep projects on track, within budget, and up to quality standards
• Act as a coach and mentor, promoting a culture of continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of programming across multiple languages (e.g. .NET, Java, Python, HTML, etc,.) as well as the components of applications (application servers, database servers, etc.)
• Certification in Agile methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
• SAFe and Kanban certifications are advantageous
• Familiarity with Agile project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Monday.com
