Summary

Join Encora as a System Developer Tester and contribute to a dynamic team creating test solutions focused on performance and system-wide quality assurance. You will leverage your advanced proficiency in Python or Java to develop robust testing solutions and design comprehensive test strategies. Responsibilities include integrating and maintaining automated test suites, mentoring junior team members, and optimizing test performance. The ideal candidate possesses experience with various testing tools and frameworks, such as PyTest, Selenium, JMeter, and AWS. This full-time, work-from-home position is located in Brazil.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Python or Java
• Experience with PyTest
• Experience with Selenium with WebDriver
• Experience with JMeter
• Familiarity with Behavior Driven Tests (BDD)
• Experience with AWS
• Experience working with Agile Teams

Responsibilities

• Understand a broad range of Software Engineering Quality concepts and their applicability
• Have advanced proficiency in Python or Java with demonstrated experience in developing robust testing solutions
• Design comprehensive test strategies and plans independently, even for complex systems
• Integrate and maintain automated test suites in Devops Pipelines
• Mentor more junior team members and lead testing initiatives
• Optimize test performance by debugging integration issues
• Understand integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, with familiarity with popular tools like Jenkins
• Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with building complex test strategies
• Knowledge of or experience with Performance testing
• Knowledge of or experience with Restful Api automation with Postman
• Experience with Advanced API Testing: by developing advanced REST API automation scripts
• Experience with writing and executing data ingestion scripts, preferably in Python
• Experience mentoring junior QA team members or leading testing initiatives
• Experience with performance Optimization
• Experience with Logging frameworks such as Datadog
