Summary

Join Luxury Presence as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. You will design, develop, and execute automated tests, maintain our automated testing framework and CI/CD pipeline, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires 5+ years of experience as an SDET or in a similar QA automation role, proficiency with various test automation frameworks and tools, and strong programming skills in JavaScript, Typescript, or similar languages. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality code and seamless user experiences. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an SDET or in a similar QA automation role
• Proficiency with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, or others
• Experience building test automation repositories from the scratch
• Experience addressing QA hard problems (reliability, parallelization, scaling and reporting)
• Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Gitlab, or CircleCI
• Solid programming experience in JavaScript, Typescript, or similar languages
• Strong experience with React, GraphQL, and Apollo for web and mobile applications
• Expertise in writing and running automated tests across different layers of applications (unit tests, integration tests, E2E tests)
• Familiarity with testing multiple platforms such as web and mobile (iOS and Android) applications
• Knowledge of API testing (REST and GraphQL)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests for web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality code and seamless user experiences
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools
• Support and maintain our CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that automated tests are seamlessly integrated into the development process
• Work closely with engineers to understand new features and ensure they are thoroughly tested before deployment
• Identify areas of improvement in our testing and development workflows and implement solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand testing requirements and deliver solutions that align with project goals
• Monitor and manage bugs and issues discovered through automated tests and ensure they are promptly addressed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and methodologies to improve testing efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience utilizing AI Tools to accelerate quality assurance impact in a production product
• Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo Client
• Experience with cloud-native testing tools and methodologies (AWS, Kubernetes)
• Experience with React Native for mobile testing with exposure to testing mobile apps, especially using Maestro or similar tools
