You will collaborate across Security, IT, and Engineering teams, leading complex investigations and in-depth analysis. Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, or security engineering roles
- Proven experience with security monitoring, threat hunting, and incident response procedures
- Strong background in vulnerability management, risk assessment, and remediation coordination
- Experience with email security technologies, advanced threat protection, and email authentication
- Experience with cloud security (AWS preferred) including native security services and configurations
- Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF) and audit processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive reporting
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Continuous learning mindset with passion for staying current with emerging threats and technologies
Responsibilities
- Lead security monitoring across EDR, SIEM, email, and cloud platforms with advanced threat hunting capabilities
- Independently investigate and respond to complex security incidents, including malware analysis and forensic examination
- Develop and maintain custom detection rules, playbooks, and automated response workflows
- Conduct advanced threat intelligence analysis and integrate findings into security operations
- Lead incident response activities including evidence collection, impact assessment, and post-incident reviews
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance during security events
- Own the vulnerability management program including scan orchestration, risk assessment, and remediation prioritization
- Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities
- Lead cross-functional remediation efforts and ensure alignment with business risk tolerance
- Develop and maintain vulnerability metrics, trending analysis, and executive reporting
- Evaluate and implement new vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies
- Lead security tool evaluation, deployment, and optimization initiatives
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts and integration workflows
- Conduct security assessments of new technologies and third-party services
- Contribute to security architecture decisions and technology roadmap planning
- Manage complex logging and monitoring infrastructure configurations
- Contribute to evidence collection and control testing for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other compliance frameworks
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and control documentation
- Conduct risk assessments and contribute to enterprise risk management activities
- Track and report on security program effectiveness and compliance metrics
- Design and execute sophisticated phishing simulations and social engineering campaigns
- Develop targeted security awareness programs based on threat landscape analysis
- Lead tabletop exercises and security incident simulation training
- Contribute to role-based security training programs for high-risk user groups
- Analyze user behavior patterns and develop behavioral security metrics
- Coordinate with HR and leadership on security culture initiatives
