Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field or equivalent, relevant experience and
  • 0-2 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or analytical support role (relevant internships welcome)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, numerical aptitude, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, and a solid grasp of basic accounting and financial principles
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment
  • A proactive and eager learner with a strong desire to build a career in finance, demonstrating the ability to work well under guidance and as a collaborative team member
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information

Responsibilities

  • Support financial reporting and month-end close processes by managing data, performing basic trend and variance analysis, and assisting with financial assessments
  • Manage key accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and payments, while also supporting vendor relations, compliance, and related tax reporting
  • Execute diverse payment transactions and oversee daily cash flow operations, including managing receipts and performing essential reconciliations
  • Address and resolve financial inquiries and payment disputes effectively, analyzing root causes to identify and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain meticulous financial records and documentation, directly supporting internal and external audit processes and ensuring adherence to compliance requirements
  • Provide crucial analytical and operational support to the Finance team, contributing to efficiency improvements and the achievement of departmental goals
  • Collaborate effectively within the Finance team and across departments, fostering a positive work environment and aligning contributions with company objectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • AP, expense review, cash management experience
  • Finance and accounting related work or internship experience
