Requirements

  • Expert level knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure AD, Entra, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Identity
  • Broad and deep expertise Microsoft productivity tools including Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams
  • Advanced understanding of common DLP use cases
  • Advanced understanding of common data classifications
  • Working knowledge of common threat actor TTPs

Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject matter expert for all Microsoft security capabilities
  • Serve as subject matter expert for the Granicus technical implementation of Microsoft security capabilities
  • Responsible for driving progress and managing efforts to implement the Granicus Cyber Defense roadmap within the Microsoft security capabilities
  • Provide operational monitoring of the administration of security controls
  • Receive and administer exceptions requests to security controls
  • Evaluate new capabilities as they are released
  • Provide recommendations to influence Cyber Defense roadmap
  • Monitor and respond to data loss prevention (DLP) violations
  • Monitor and respond to data classification operational issues
  • Work closely with SOC Operations team to design and improve process flows
  • Work closely with Security Engineering to improve tooling and processes
  • Provide mentorship and leadership for other Cyber Defense personnel
  • Research new security technology trends that can be used to reduce exposure
  • Work with cross functional teams as a security representative during incidents

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to be a self-starter
  • Ability to work independently to accomplish assigned objectives with minimal supervision
  • Ability to write technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and train team members
