Summary

Vouched is seeking a Security & Compliance Engineer to ensure their Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, applications, and IT processes are secure and compliant with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II. The engineer will work closely with the engineering team, perform and automate security and compliance processes, facilitate annual audits, and help answer security and privacy questionnaires. They should have experience automating ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 technical requirements, managing the lifecycle of compliance processes, scripting languages, cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD processes.

Requirements

• Experience automating ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 technical requirements
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with deploying and supporting containerized applications (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineering team to ensure building and operating product in a secure and compliant way
• Perform and automate security and compliance processes (managed via Vanta)
• Facilitate annual audits with proof that controls are in place for audits
• Help customer-support team answer questions related to security and privacy questionnaires
• Handle provisioning or deprovisioning employees or contractors through systems (all managed via Rippling)
• Assist engineering debugging and troubleshooting issues in production infrastructure
• Participate in infrastructure on-call rotations
