Security Lead

Summary

Join Consensys, a leading blockchain and web3 software company, as a Security Lead for Linea, our layer 2 zk-rollup for Ethereum. You will be the primary point of contact for security-related issues, developing and implementing security policies and procedures. Conduct security audits and risk assessments, work with developers to integrate security into the development process, and stay updated on the latest security threats. This role requires strong knowledge of Ethereum, software and smart contract security, and excellent communication skills. The position is US or remote (excluding EU, Australia, and Canada). Salary is dependent on experience and skills, with a US pay range of $157,000 - $293,000 (excluding bonus, equity, or other benefits).

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Ethereum, and software and smart contract security
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Submit to background checks including but not limited to employment, education and criminal record checks

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for security-related issues for dapps and people running nodes, developers, and internal network deployment
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the security and trustworthiness of our network
• Conduct security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
• Work with developers to ensure that security is integrated into the development process
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate them
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of our network
