Security Management Specialist

Summary

Join Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions, Hungary’s most attractive employer in 2025, as a member of the Deutsche Telekom Security team. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, processes, and systems to ensure information security and compliance for business customers. Responsibilities include global security automation and reporting, security analysis and optimization, preparing decision papers for top management, managing strategic initiatives, and representing interests in strategic committees. This position requires a completed degree in IT Security Management or a related field, high-level English and German language skills, minimum 5 years of information security experience, and relevant certifications. Experience in managing strategic projects and coordinating with audit service providers is also necessary. The role values teamwork, self-confidence, and diplomatic skills.

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in IT Security Management / Informatics / Engineering / Cyber security / Project management or a comparable qualification
• High-level English and German language knowledge
• Minimum 5 years experience in information security
• IT security related education and/or certifications (ISO27k LA, CISSP, CompTIA, CRISC, etc.)
• Experience in managing strategically oriented projects and coordinating with audit service providers, including budgeting
• Teamwork, self-confidence and diplomatic skills

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to our global security automation and reporting efforts
• Analysis of security as well as identification and evaluation of optimization potentials in the dimensions of costs, efficiency and effectiveness
• Preparation of decision papers as well as presentation and discussion of results with top management
• Management of the operationalization and implementation of strategic corporate initiatives and programs
• Representation of interests in overarching, strategic committees

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis and tools (e.g. PowerApps)
• Experience in project management / agile methods
