Security Operations Engineer

Summary

Bridge Financial Technology is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to maintain and improve their security posture, data standards, and ensure compliance with SOC and ISO frameworks. The role is remote, and the ideal candidate should have a B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field, experience with Go, Python, SQL, and familiarity with the Cloud Development Kit (CDK) is considered a plus.

Requirements

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical discipline within a STEM field (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)

Responsibilities

• Maintain Bridge’s current compliance standards, focusing on SOC Type 1 and Type 2 audits
• Develop and maintain a robust security posture for AWS infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce IT controls
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions for application logs, CloudTrail audit logs, and other relevant data sources
• Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies that align with the enterprise maturity plan
• Understand and integrate with available AWS services to help application developers and data engineers build out architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Background or familiarity with Go, Python, SQL is considered a plus
• Experience with the Cloud Development Kit (CDK) in a strong plus
