Requirements

  • University degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in IT, including at least 4 years of hands-on experience in ICT security
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Security certification (examples): CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control), ISO 27001 Lead implementer / Lead Auditor, GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA) / GIAC Public Cloud Security (GPCS), ECIH (EC-Council Certified Incident Handler), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), SABSA Chartered Security Architect โ€“ Master/Practitioner Certificate (SCM/SCP)

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage security architectures and frameworks for enterprise environments
  • Monitor, analyse, and respond to cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
  • Conduct risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
  • Collaborate with IT, cloud, and DevSecOps teams to embed security into system architectures and applications
  • Handle security operations, incident response, digital forensics and security audits
  • Implement and monitor vulnerability scanning, risk management, and security testing methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masterโ€™s Degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevSecOps, or security automation
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27005, security auditing, and penetration testing methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for security operations and incident response
