Senior 3D Environment Artist

Summary

Orange Comet is seeking a 3D Environment Artist with at least three years of experience in Roblox or similar platforms to create immersive environments for games. The role requires proficiency in using Roblox Studio or similar software, excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in 3D environment art, focusing on Roblox or similar interactive platforms
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous 3D environment work, particularly for Roblox
• Proficiency in using Roblox Studio, Blender, or other 3D modeling software
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Design and create engaging and immersive 3D environments for Roblox games
• Develop high-quality 3D models, textures, and materials optimized for the Roblox platform
• Work closely with game designers, programmers, and other team members to bring game concepts to life
• Participate in play testing sessions and gather player feedback to refine and improve environment designs
• Stay updated on the latest trends in 3D environment art and the Roblox platform
• Ensure all environment design elements align with the overall vision and objectives of the project

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, 3D Art, Computer Science, Interactive Media, or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with scripting in Lua is a plus
• Basic understanding of tools like Jira or Trello
