Senior 3D Stylized Environment Artist

Summary

Join our team as a Senior 3D Stylized Environment Artist and contribute to the creation of Seedworld, a major AAA metaverse title. You will be responsible for crafting stunning environments and props based on provided concept art, using industry-standard software like Maya and ZBrush. This is a fully remote position with flexible hours, requiring 5+ years of experience in the gaming or VFX/film industry. The ideal candidate possesses strong modeling skills, a collaborative spirit, and excellent communication abilities. Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as an Environment Artist in the gaming and/or VF/film industry
• Ability to quickly iterate on an idea, as well as take an asset to a final optimized state
• Great ability to design both interior and exterior environments, from furnished occupiable spaces to grand vistas
• Great knowledge of Substance Painter, Maya and ZBrush is required
• Great verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Create stylized models for environments, structures, lighting studies, and other props for large, playable maps, using Maya and ZBrush
• Use your expertise in modeling to ensure the production meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and polish
• Attend reviews, take feedback
• Function as part of a fast-paced close-knit team: Collaborate with artists and engineers to achieve a unified vision
