Summary

You will gain or deepen experience and knowledge in many areas of accounting, including customer and vendor transactions, fixed assets, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, financial statement analysis, and audit and tax support.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience with NetSuite or equivalent ERP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Highly developed attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong time-management skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are following GAAP, and internal policies and procedures are executed
• Manage corporate card system, including reviewing and approving expenses
• Manage expense reporting system, including reviewing and approving expenses
• Review, process and pay vendor bills
• Create monthly customer invoices
• Prepare monthly prepaid amortization and depreciation journals
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain fixed assets
• Follow up on A/R
• Maintain customer and vendor data in NetSuite, including W-9s
• Prepare annual 1099s
• Assist with filing quarterly VAT returns
• Assist with audit fieldwork
• Ad hoc projects as needed
