Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing various accounting functions such as monthly financial report preparation, account reconciliations, and billing. They will also assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience with operational accounting and month end close process, a BS degree in Accounting or related field, and proficiency in MS Excel and Word.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience with operational accounting and month end close process
• Demonstrated understanding and application of US GAAP accounting standards
• BS in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field required
• Accounting software experience required
• MS Excel and Word proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly close and consolidation process
• Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries
• Prepare materials for audits and tax filings
• Resolve issues related to billing/collections and cash settlement processes
• Support the company expense management process
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting policies and procedures
• Engage in ad-hoc projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Big Four public accounting experience preferred
