Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• A minimum of 2+ years of related experience required
• Public accounting experience required, and CPA certification preferred
• Life Science/Biopharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to quality and ethical excellence, upholding the highest professional standards
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and continuously improving environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate and timely financial records, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations and financial statements
• Support the preparation of SEC filings including 10-Qs / 10-Ks
• Active participation and contribution in all required audits and tax filings
• Assist with the cash and accounts payable function, including preparation of bank reconciliations
• Conduct variance analysis and assist in preparation of financial reports, highlighting key findings and trends
• Participate in the implementation and improvement of internal controls and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency
