Senior Accounts Payable Accountant, Remote - United States

Summary

The job description is for a Senior Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to manage AP processes, credit card transactions, and accruals at InfluxData, a remote-first company. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 4 or more years of AP experience and month end close
• Good understanding of GAAP and/or financial statement presentation
• Experience with NetSuite, Zip, and Expensify, or similar systems
• Strong organizational and verbal / written English communication skills
• Critical thinking and analytical skills with experience managing multiple projects with minimal direction
• Accuracy and attention to detail a must
• Self-motivated, deadline driven and results-oriented, a problem solver with a can-do attitude with strong teamwork skills and strong desire to drive changes
• Experience with MS Excel (pivot tables, Vlookup, etc.), able to work with large data sets and build reports

Responsibilities

• Daily review and recording of vendor invoices in NetSuite AP module
• Process payments via ACH, wires, etc. for domestic and international vendors on approved AP Aging report
• Daily review and monitoring of employee business expense reports using Expensify expense reimbursement system in accordance with the InfluxData’s Travel & Business Expense Policy
• Zip ‘Procure to Pay’ system management and documentation
• Credit Card Processing
• Prepare monthly accruals
• Manage and reconcile Prepaids
• Monthly Close Activities/Flux Analysis
• Record Foreign Transaction Fees on international expenses
• Assist with audit and ad hoc support requests
• Manage AP KPIs
• Ad hoc reporting and analytics projects
