Requirements
- Have led a team and the full accounting function, including month-end, tax, annual audit, and management reporting
- Experience with inventory accounting, cycle counts, and reconciliations
- Experience with cash forecasting and management
- Creative and an ability to identify opportunities to improve business processes
- Experience using Netsuite and with complex financial statements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum of five years of experience
- CPA Required
- Experience in a venture-backed or private equity-backed company
Responsibilities
- Lead accounting staff, responsible for accounts payable, tax, and billing/receivables
- Month-end and quarterly close and all general ledger duties
- Reconciling material balance sheet account (inventory, deferred revenue, debt, and similar)
- Leading the annual audit
- Supporting cross-functional stakeholders with reporting, inquiries, and managing third-party relationships
- Produce month-end reporting packages, cash forecasts, and KPI metrics packages for executing management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with credit card based revenue and enterprise invoicing
- Experience with Tipalti, Salesforce, and other similar systems
- Strong Excel skills and a hands-on leadership approach
- Strong GAAP experience
