Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA certification is required
• A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible accounting or finance experience
• At least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, and accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and expert guidance to the accounting team
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial processes
• Lead the development and implementation of robust financial analysis
• Ensure full adherence to GAAP, financial regulations, and internal control policies
• Manage the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits
• Work closely with other departments to improve financial documentation and data integrity
• Recommend and implement improvements to financial policies, procedures, and systems
• Act as a key financial advisor to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Agricultural and/or Manufacturing industries
• Experience managing accounting functions in a remote environment
